Welcome to the Pretty Poly Editor (PPE) website! PPE is a portable open-source 3D-modeller, file viewer and converter. It is targetted at 3D games development, and as such, features OpenGL display and WYSIWYG functionality. It also includes scripting ability, with full support for Python. We are in alpha stage. You can download the source or binary and get a working editor, but there are are still many missing features. It is not very usefull yet as a modeller. However, since we can read and write all formats that plib can, PPE is a good 3D file converter. For a list of these formats, see the large table in the bottom in here We also have a nice manual :-). We appreciate any comments, suggestions and of course help contributed. On the following pages you will find information for all the needs of users and developers.
