How to speed up some operations:
While the 3d-viewer-window is visible, it is constantly redrawn, costing much CPU-time. If you close it or just minimize it, PPE will use much less CPU-time for itself. Under Windows, the CPU-usage is a major concern. For example, if you want to view the manual, you might minimize all viewers and choose help/view manual from the main-GUI-window.
